đŸ”„One Team, Focused on achieving One Goal.

There is a Hunger when you want to be great, and we are ready to fulfill that urge to Hunt.

Something that separates the Bulldogs from most travel baseball teams is that we hold Chalk Talk classroom practices — particularly during the winter and early spring months. These classroom sessions make a big difference on the field during the season.

You’ve seen the agony from coaches during games. â€œWhy are you not where you’re supposed to be?!” Or â€œWhat are you thinking?!” Coaches may cover certain situations during an on-field practice, but they’re missing an important opportunity for understanding and reinforcement.

The practice field is a good place for movements, reps, and drills. But it’s not always the best place for deep thought and conversation on strategy and responsibilities. That’s why the Bulldogs hold several 90 minute classroom sessions for this purpose.  Below are some of the topics covered in our Chalk Talk classroom practices:

  • Cutoffs and Backup Responsibilities
  • Hitting Situations and Approach
  • Pitching/Catching Situations and Approach
  • Base running Situations
  • Team Goals and Philosophies

In addition, there are guest instructors at times including former MLB players, college coaches, or high school coaches. They speak on Development and Exposure, the recruiting process, and much more.
